Day-long ride on the Union Pacific Saturday, Nov. 13, 2010

You'll be ridin' on the railroad all the live-long day with this once-in-a-lifetime excursion. Climb aboard and ride in style behind the No. 844 as we steam to North Platte, Nebraska, where the No. 844 will be switched out for a diesel locomotive to speed us back home to Council Bluffs. But not before we go up and over the "sheep jump" at Bailey Yard, the world's largest railroad classification yard.

The Anniversary Special is a fund-raising excursion for The Union Pacific Railroad Museum in Council Bluffs, Iowa.
